2012 Buellton CA End of Year Real Estate Market Update

The number of homes sold in Buellton CA in 2012 decreased 15% compared to the previous year.  Average list price edged up $3017 and the average sale price also edge up $4864, so it appears Buellton CA may have turned a corner in the housing crisis.  Days on market increased substantially, almost 46%, but it appears that sellers were able to hold firm and get near their asking prices with average sales prices at about 97.75% of average list price.  Foreclosures were down by over 50% and short sales edged up a bit from 12 to 14 (16.6% increase).  So, overall distress sales were 56% of the market in 2011, and in 2012 they were 54% of theBuellton CA Real Estate market
